The AAMC (Australasian Alliance of Messianic Congregations) are Congregations (Kehillot) that practice Messianic Judaism in Australia and New Zealand. While some Kehillot are under the guidance of Rabbi Yitzhak Shapira (via Yeshivat Shuvu) and others are independent, we are one in the G-d of Israel, and as such represent a unified presence of Messianic Judaism in Australasia, in unity with multitudes of Kehillot around the world.
Each Kehillah is still autonomous and therefore we do not necessarily endorse everything that is said publicly or taught by the leaders and their congregants. However, we all desire to be Ichud Klal Yisrael (in unity with the whole of Israel, our Jewish brothers and sisters).
Messianic Judaism is an ancient religious movement from the time of the Apostolic Writings (also called the New Testament). We belief that Yeshua is the awaited Messiah of Israel, and just as the Apostles and followers of Yeshua followed Judaism and Jewish tradition, Messianic Judaism follows the same structure. Its current form re-emerged in the 1960s and 1970s.
Messianic Judaism believes that Yeshua is the Jewish Messiah, and that the Tanach being the Old Testament and Apostolic Writings are the authoritative Scriptures. Salvation in Messianic Judaism is achieved only through acceptance of the Messiah, Yeshua, as one’s Saviour, and Jewish laws or customs, which are followed, do not contribute to salvation.
Belief in the messiahship of Yeshua, His power to save, and His divinity are the core of Messianic faith.
Many adherents of Messianic Judaism are ethnically Jewish and argue that the movement is a sect of Judaism, all while maintaining the need for lost Israel and gentiles to return to the covenant and be grafted into the natural tree.

The MaShiach represents a Yechida (entity) within Israel, and any attempt to separate Yeshua from his Jewish people Reflects an Anti-Semitic view.
The Torah is G-D’s love letter to the Jewish people, which is a binding Ketuvah (marriage covenant), still today, until heaven and earth pass away.

Starting with Avraham, an Oral Mascoret (teaching) was passed down to us through our Sages.
In the unique calling and role of the Messianic Jewish believers, and the calling of the Nations, to build the kingdom of G-D together.
